Another great family business story that just keeps on giving back.
It could easily be said that Sherry Lynn and Bill Coffey began their love affair with farm markets more than four decades ago back in Alexandria, where his family ran Coffey’s Roadside Market. Sherry took a job working there in the bakery department. “Then I met Bill,” she said. “And that was it. We fell in love and got married.” And then moved to the country and began Buckland Farm Market, their bustling business along the Fauquier-Prince William county line. “We started in Gainesville in 1986,” she said, “and then we moved to our current location in New Baltimore eight years ago.”
